Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale Colt 1851 Navy percussion revolver made by Uberti in Italy. Fully functional, but non-firing. 6 1/4″ long overall with a 3 1/2″ octagon rifled barrel of .17 caliber. The frame, hammer, rammer, and loading lever are case colored. The balance of the steel parts are charcoal blue. The brass triggerguard, backstrap, and bead front sight are just starting to show a nice touch of age patina. The top of the barrel factory roll stamped with the proper Colt barrel address. There no Uberti markings on the bottom of the barrel. .36 CAL marked at the left rear of the triggerguard. The cylinder roll stamped with the Ormsby naval battle scene. Serial number 365 stamped into the barrel lug, frame, triggerguard, backstrap, & cylinder. Checkered hammer spur and loading lever latch. Nicely figured walnut one piece grips with an gloss finish. This may very well be a U.S. Historical Society miniature that has lost it’s case. Mint new condition except for a tiny nick on the bottom front of the right side of the grip. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
