!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale Winchester 1866 carbine project. These were special ordered by Imperial Miniature Armory from Uberti with no wood, and were slated to be engraved & have ivory stocks made, as miniatures of the full size Maximilian and Porfirio Diaz ivory stocked & engraved Winchester 1866 carbines. The lever, hammer, and trigger, which are blued from Uberti, were sent to Doug Turnbull in New York and case colored. The top of the barrel was laser engraved with the proper Winchester barrel address by IMA. Additionally, there are no Uberti markings anywhere. Unlike the complete Uberti 1866 carbines & rifles, the brass parts on this piece have not been gold plated, so with time, it should develop a really nice original aged patina. The sideplates are already showing some patina. Included are all the metal parts you will need to complete the miniature, even the two buttplate screws. The included buttplate is yellow brass crescent type with the trap door for the three piece segmented cleaning rod. All you have to do is make the stock & forearm & you’ll have yourself a really nice miniature at about 1/3 the normal price! Plus, it has the case colored parts & the barrel address! Sold “AS – IS”.
