This is a 1/2 scale MP-38 Schmeisser machine pistol made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia about 20 years ago. 12 1/16″ long overall with the stock folded. 16 3/8″ long overall with the stock extended. 4 13/16″ barrel of about .176 caliber. Machined steel and Bakelite construction. The steel parts are blued. The Bakelite is a very dark brown. The round part of the receiver is fluted. The stock, pistol grips, and each side of the front of the stock are serrated. Serrated muzzle nut and takedown nut. Two leaf rear sight where one is stationary and the other folds rearward. Checkered magazine release, stock release, and the sides of the folding leaf sight. Aluminum barrel rest. The serial number “004” laser engraved on the left side of the receiver forward of the magazine well and on the left rear of the receiver. The top rear of the receiver laser engraved “M.P. 38, 27, 1940” in three lines. The bottom of the Bakelite stock laser engraved “MADE IN RUSSIA, MINIART” in two lines. 32 round blued sheet metal magazine. Includes three solid steel 1/2 scale 9mm dummy cartridges that will feed, chamber, extract, and eject when the action is manually cycled. Near mint condition showing only the most minor signs of handling, I’d call it 99+%. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
