Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is not only an antique miniature percussion single shot pistol, it is also the key for an antique key wind pocket watch! 2″ long overall with a 3/4″ barrel with a square bore of about .066 caliber. Steel construction. One piece rosewood grip. The sides of the frame, the barrel. and the backstrap nicely engraved. The trigger with a loop in it so it can be attached to a watch chain. The hammer has both half & full cock. The trigger reset spring is not working. You must hold some forward pressure on the trigger to get the hammer to hold. This piece was probably originally blued. There is no blue now showing. The metal is a pleasing gray/brown patina with very little to no pitting, even on the nipple. The one piece grip shows some typical handling marks. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
