!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a full size percussion pocket knife pistol made by Walter Agnoletto of Turin, Italy.  Mr. Agnoletto’s work is featured in Merrill Lindsay’s book “Miniature Arms”.  3 3/8″ long overall with everything closed.  The stainless steel clip point knife blade is 2 3/8″ long.  The spring loaded square percussion pistol barrel is 1 3/4″ long & is engine turned on both sides & the bottom.  The top of the barrel a high polish nitre blue.  There is some nice file work on the knife blade spring & the rear spine of the blade.  Ivory scales with a nice aged patina, brass escutcheons, with two screws on each side, & an inlaid oval German silver escutcheon.  There is a checkered oblong knob on the back side of the handle that when pressed toward the end opposite the hammer releases the rifle barrel which then springs up & must be manually brought back & locked into place.  The hammer is then manually cocked & released by the button on the barrel side of the knife.  The blade is then released to fold back down by sliding the release button & folding it down into place.  Complete with a brass powder flask which has some corrosion at the tip if the spout & where the spout enters the body.  Plus a nice nitre blue cross shaped tool that is a screwdriver on one end and the ramrod on the other.  The original Agnoletto walnut case has a hinged top with hook latches.  The top inlaid in a four point star with maple & ebony.  The case interior French fit & lined in red felt, with the interior lid padded.  There are two corner compartments with brass knobs.  One containing some percussion caps & the other some proper lead balls.  Excellent near mint condition.   Stock # CK-24.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
