Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a double barrel wheellock pistol made by Walter Agnoletto of Turin, Italy.  Mr. Agnoletto’s works are prominently featured in Merrill Lindsay’s book “Miniature Arms”, published in 1970.  Fully functional & capable of firing!  All steel construction finished in the white.  Profusely engraved in very tight scrolls featuring a dog on the right side near the muzzle and a helmeted soldier on the right middle.  4″ long overall.  The top barrel is half octagon half round and measures 2 1/2″ long.  The bottom barrel measures 1 7/8″ long.  both are .092 caliber.  There are two wheellock mechanisms, one for each barrel, both with spring loaded sliding pan covers.  Both wheellock assemblies have lever safeties. The ball butt is hinged with a button release at the top revealing a compartment I would assume is for storing the lead projectiles.  There is a belt hook on the left side.  Complete with the original combination tool and the original blue leather hinged top flip latch case.  The case interior bottom French fit & lined in red felt.  The interior lid padded & lined in a matching red silk.  A truly magnificent piece & featured on page 217 of the book “The Art Of Miniature Firearms”!  Stock # CK-12.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!
