Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a vintage circa 1926 “DOC” cast iron toy cap pistol. The pistol was originally nickel plated, and shows about 90% of the original nickel finish. The left side of the frame has the letters “DOC” cast into the frame in high relief letters. The right side of the frame similarly is marked in raised letters “PAT., SEPT., 11-23” in three lines. The grips have cast in checkering with a “S” in a depressed circle on the left side and a “W” in a depressed circle on the right side, I’m assuming for Smith & Wesson. There is the typical rust on the nose of the hammer and the back of the frame where the corrosive caps would be placed. Mechanically excellent, and will probably clean up to look even better! Stock # KD-44. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
