!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a solid gold 1/6 scale German P-08 Luger by an unknown maker. 1 1/8″ long overall with a 15/32″ barrel of about .056 caliber. This piece is non-functional except the toggle does pull up & lockback, then when the trigger is pulled, the toggle falls back into place. The barrel is not bored through to the breechblock. The piece is solid gold, & heavy. I do not know what karat it is, but my guess would be 10K – 14K. Total weight is .2 ounce. At 10 karat, that would make it about $150.00 in gold, at 14 karat about $210.00 in gold. When I bought this piece, it had one wood grip & one grip missing. Bob Urso was gracious enough to make the new replacement grips for this piece out of ivory, which I think looks much better than the original wood grip. The two piece ivory grips with no screws are probably glued in place. I’ve had a number of solid gold very small scale miniatures in the past including Colt & Remington derringers, but have never seen one of these Lugers. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
