This is a beautiful large full size Native America flint bladed knife with rattle snake head carved pommel by an unknown contemporary maker. 13 1/4″ long overall with a 7 5/16″ double edged flint blade. The handle is antler with the end or pommel carved in the likeness of a rattle snake head. Orange bead eyes with a black vertical pupil. There is an orange/brown transition piece between the blade & handle, but I don’t know what it is made of. Includes a fancy fringed deerskin sheath with 4 bone & claw decorations. The main body of the front of the sheath dyed in an Native American geometrical motif. The sheath has a long deerskin strap for hanging over the neck & shoulder. Beautifully made!
