!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a full size flashlight gun/pistol made by an unknown maker. 6 13/16″ long overall with a 1 1/2″ barrel of .248 caliber. The piece is very heavily constructed of solid steel, finished in the white. The flashlight body is finely checkered, the raised ring on the cocking piece is lightly crosshatched. The flashlight shoots single shot out of the hole where the bulb would normally be. The bell of the flashlight unscrews to load the cartridge, which I think is a .25 Colt ACP centerfire pistol cartridge. To cock the gun, the rear of the flashlight is pulled backwards until it clicks. The gun is now ready to fire. To fire, you press the button on the top of the body of the flashlight, Disguised weapons like this were routinely used by the U.S. OSS and the French resistance during WWII.
