!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a cased pair of 1/6 scale martial flintlock pistols by an unknown maker. 2 15/16″ long overall with 1 9/16″ round steel smoothbore barrels. Steel barrels, lock assemblies, ramrods, backstraps, triggerguard base, & screws, finished in the white. Yellow brass pan, triggerguard, nose cap, buttcap, & sideplate. The locks are functional, and have both half & full cock, but the hammer spring of one pistol is broken. The lockplate & hammer of one of the pistols stamped with the initials “J.G.”. The other pistol unmarked. One piece dark walnut stocks. Cased together in a lacquered burl walnut hinged top case with ebony edging & no latch. The interior French fit & lined in red felt. The case exterior bottom lined in brown felt. The steel parts show some light surface rust & minor pitting, and have a steel gray/brown patina. The brass parts showing a nice mellow aged patina. The stocks are in good condition. The case with some crazing to the lacquer finish. A neat little set of pistols that will clean up to look much better with very little work. Possibly antique.
