Project Description
This is a miniature ball butt wheellock pistol made by an unknown maker, but it kind of looks like a Peter or Andrew Dyson from England piece to me. I’m sure this is relatively modern, made in the last 50 – 60 years, & at least after WWII. It’s a pretty piece & well done! 4 9/16″ long overall with a steel part octagon part round smoothbore barrel of .34 caliber, finished in the white. Yellow cast brass frame with some nice engraving, see photos. The lockplate is fire blued “blue” blue. The balance of the lock assembly a mixture of brass & steel finished in the white.  Fire blued steel combination ramrod/lock winder. There is a safety at the rear of the lockplate. Carved ornate brass triggerguard. Excellent condition, but the brass frame looks to have been overly polished. complete with a nice hinged top walnut case with flip latch. the interior lined in red felt.  Stock # CK-295. Price: $2,500.00.
