This is an antique pair of 1/3 scale Spanish ivory stocked miquelet flintlock single shot pistols by an unknown maker. 5 3/4″ long overall with 3 1/2″ part octagon part round blued steel barrels with swelled cannon muzzles. Steel lock assemblies that may have been case colored at one time, or may have been finished in the white. The barrel bands and triggerguards are silver plated steel. Blued belt hooks and sideplates. There is a twisted silver wire decoration near the butts of both pistols. Ivory ramrods with silver tips. Both barrels are bored through to the touch holes. There is some modest engraving on the lockplates, frizzens, & hammers. One piece ivory stocks with a beautiful aged patina. Both locks are functional with full cock only. Extremely fine condition considering their age. There is some very minor surface rust in a couple places and some expected age cracks in one ramrod. A very unusual pair of miniature pistols the likes of which I have never seen before. Price Reduced: $3,000.00/each or $5,500.00/pair.
