Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale Smith & Wesson top break five shot revolver by an unknown maker. 3 7/16″ long overall with a 1 9/16″ barrel of about .095 caliber. This revolver looks to be made of German silver. I am not sure if the frame is made of laminated pieces of German silver, or if it is cast, but there is a visible seam line in several places. The pistol has a fluted 5 shot cylinder. The revolver works in double action only, the hammer cocking and dropping, and the cylinder does index. Two piece mother of pearl grips with a single screw entering from the left side. I have never seen one of these before. It is a neat piece, well made, and Smith & Wesson miniatures are seldom encountered. Excellent condition, but could use a good cleaning. Stock # KD-19. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
