!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Frank Wesson swivel barrel derringer by an unknown maker chambered for 4mm rimfire. Although at first glance I thought this is a Larry Smith, and it is the quality of a Larry Smith, it is not so marked. Larry marked all his miniatures. This miniature is also not in a Larry Smith case, and I have never seen a Larry Smith miniature in 4mm rimfire. Could be a Sutherland. 2 5/8″ long overall with a 1 5/16″ barrel group with bores of about .175 caliber. Beautifully engraved yellow brass frame. Beautifully engraved steel barrel group finished in the white. Case colored hammer, trigger, and barrel release. Two piece walnut grips with yellow brass escutcheons and a single blued screw entering from the left side. Checkered hammer spur, the hammer with both half and full cock. The hammer must be brought to half cock in order to rotate the barrels. The right side of one barrel flat hand engraved “FRANK WESSON WORCESTER, MASS. PT. DEC. 15′ 68”. Complete with a mahogany hinged top casing and eight rounds of live 2mm rimfire ammunition. The pistol has a weak hammer spring, otherwise it is in excellent condition. Stock # ES-20. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
