!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/2 scale percussion Kentucky/Pennsylvania long rifle by an unknown maker.  29 7/16″ long overall with a 20 15/16″ smooth bore browned octagon barrel.  The steel lock assembly, buttplate, trigger, triggerguard, ramrod thimbles, and sights are browned.  The barrel pin & sideplate escutcheons, and non-operable patchbox are yellow brass.  Full length straight grained walnut one piece stock.  Functional lock with both half and full cock.  The barrel is bored through to the nipple and this rifle will shoot given the proper caps and load.  The patchbox seems to be soldered in place.  This piece has the look of some age to it.  There is some surface rust on the lockplate and other scattered areas.  A nice looking piece that I am sure will clean up to look even better!  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
