Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/6 scale six barrel Gatling gun by an unknown maker. 15 5/8″ long overall, 9 3/4″ wide, & 6″ tall. The gun itself is 9 7/8″ long with 5 1/8″ steel barrels of .125 caliber. Steel barrels, bolts, & some hardware. The wheels are 5 13/16″ in diameter with brass tyres. Walnut & brass carriage with very well made fittings & nice detail. I have had two of these in the past 5 – 6 years. They are usually semi-functional in that when you turn the crank the barrels turn, the bolts reciprocate, & you can hear what sounds like firing pin clicks. This one has a problem with the gears that turn the barrels. I took it apart & had a look, but the repair is beyond my skill level. The rear cascabel, the rounded knob at the rear of the gun, is just press fitted & easily removable to access the gears. Nice condition but there is some etching on the steel barrels which should clean up nicely with a little work, & of course, the gearing problem. Makes a great static model or a DIY repair project. Sold “AS-IS” no returns. Priced accordingly. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
