!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale Volcanic lever action pistol by an unknown maker..4 11/16″ long overall with a 2 1/4″ octagon barrel. Brass frame, sideplates, cartridge lifter, and magazine follower. The balance of the metal parts are steel finished in the white. Fixed front sight. Windage adjustable dovetailed rear sight. Checkered hammer spur. Beautiful two piece smooth ivory grips with brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side, the ivory with a nice grain & aged patina. The frame, sideplates, gripstrap, cartridge lifter, & barrel are very nicely engraved with very tight scrolls & borders. Cosmetically this piece is near perfect, but it does need a little work on the mechanics. The lever will not pull the bolt all the way rearward, and the hammer is sticky. May just need a good cleaning or minor repair. From the personal miniature collection of Joel Morrow who owned this piece for at least 25 years that I know of. Stock # JM-49. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
