This is a 1/3 scale Colt 1851 Navy percussion revolver by an unknown maker, possibly Fred Thacker or Tom Weston. 5 3/4″ long overall with a really long 3 25/32″ octagon rifled barrel. Blue steel finish except for the frame & hammer which are case colored, and the triggerguard & backstrap which are brass. The top of the barrel heavily stamped with the proper Colt barrel address. This piece is mostly functional, the hammer & trigger work fine, but the loading rammer will not line up and go into the cylinder as would be necessary to properly load the cylinder. Cased with a turned copper two piece cap tin with white paper Eley Bros label, a brass two cavity bullet mold with blue steel sprue cutter, and a turned copper flask with brass top & spout. The hinged top case with rotating latch is oak, French fit, and lined in a rose colored silk. Stock # ES-43. Price Reduced: $500.00.
