!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is 1 1/2 scale swivel barrel derringer by an unknown maker. 2 3/8″ long overall with a 1 1/8″ barrel group. The frame & backstrap are yellow brass. The remaining metal parts are steel. Two piece stag grips with brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the right side. There is no provision to hold the barrel in place except your other hand. The action is functional, the hammer with full cock only. I thought this might fire the 2mm rimfire cartridges. I tried one of the later thick rim cartridges & the rim is too thick, causing the barrel to stick before aligning with the hammer. Might work with the thin rim 2mm rimfire, but I couldn’t find one to try it. Complete with a book type casing which is a midget copy of a leather bound English dictionary. The steel parts are a dark gray patina. The brass with a very dark aged patina. the book is in nice condition. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
