!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Unknown 1/2 Scale “Woodsman’s Pal” U. S. Issue Machete Type Fighting Knife !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/2 scale “Woodsman’s Pal” Machete type jungle fighting knife as issued by the U.S. Military.  The knife is unmarked, but probably made by Jerry Missimer.  5 13/16″ long overall with a 4 1/8″ machete blade with a sharpened hook at the end.  The blade & guard have a phosphate finish.  Stacked brown leather washer handle.  Steel “D” guard.  Includes the original dark brown leather scabbard with a wire hanger for a web belt and a leather snap retainer.  The scabbard marked on the front “U S A “.  Nice condition, but there are some minor pitted spots on the blade & guard, & the two pieces of the snap show some minor corrosion.  Stock # MC-96.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
