Project Description
This is a 1/2 scale German forestry or hunting dagger by an unknown maker. 8 3/16″ long overall with a 5 n9/16″ spear point double edged etched blade. The blade etched in woodland scenes with a deer on one side and a hunting dog on the other. The handle & guard are one piece cast brass or bronze, the guard ends look like animal hooves. Looks to be quite old maybe early 1900’s. Nice condition, shows some signs of handling. The handle & guard showing a really nice deep brown aged patina. Price: $75.00.
