!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a unique double cased exposition set of a 47% scale miniature and a full size Colt single action army revolver made by Uberti in Italy. Both revolvers are engraved by Mr. Franco Lancici, Uberti’s top engraver at the time. This one of a kind set was specially made by Uberti for Aldo Uberti’s daughter, Maria Laura Uberti, to exhibit at the 1988 S.H.O.T. Show. (Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade Show). Both revolvers are additionally gold & silver plated, with checkered ivory grips, with 5 1/2″ barrels, and black powder frames. The pair are identically engraved, and both are serial numbered 77019. The pair is cased together in a beautiful walnut hinged top casing with key lock (key included). The interior bottom is French fit and lined in a fading red felt, with black bordering. The interior top is lined in a red silk. The case has a lidded compartment where the case key is stored, and also includes a three piece pewter oiler with knurled dipper and top. The top of the case features an inlaid round brass escutcheon that is engraved “Also Uberti & Co, S-A-A 5 1/2″ PR, EXHIBITION MODELS” with some scroll engraving. Included is a copy of a January 26, 1988 letter from Aldo Uberti to the original purchaser, stating that this set, serial # 77019, was manufactured for his daughter Maria Laura to exhibit at the 1988 S.H.O.T. Show in Las Vegas, that the pair has matching serial numbers, and both were engraved by Mr. Franco Lancini. Mint new condition except for some normal tarnish to the silver and the fading to the bottom interior case lining. The full size revolver is chambered in .45 Long Colt. Since the full size revolver is a firearm, all FFL rules apply, and the set must be shipped to a FFL license holder. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
