!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Ultra Rare 1/2 Scale Miniature Polish Naval Honor Dress Dagger With Etched Blade, Scabbard, & Hangers !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is an ultra rare 1/2 scale miniature Polish Naval honor dress dagger with etched blade, scabbard, & hangers.  No maker’s marks.  7 3/4″ long overall when in the scabbard.  The dagger itself is 7 1/4″ long overall with a 4 7/8″ spear point double edged blade.  The blade looks to be nickel plated steel & is heavily etched “Honor Ojczyzma”, with some designs on each side.  Yellow celluloid grip with a brass Polish eagle attached to one side.  The guard & pommel are brass, as are the scabbard & hanger fittings.  The scabbard is partially black leather covered, with a brass naval anchor attached to one side.  There is a very similar one shown on the Johnson Reference Books & Militaria website with an un-etched blade & no anchor on the scabbard for sale at $1,550.00.  You can see it here.  Excellent plus condition, the blade showing just a little flaking of the nickel plating in a couple places, the handle, guard, pommel, leather scabbard & hangers are near mint.  A really rare, cool, & well made piece for the miniature dagger collector.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
