Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 47% scale miniature Colt single action army revolver Model of 1873 with 7 1/2 inch barrel made by Uberti in Italy.  Also known as the “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter”.  This is a Uberti factory cut-a-way.  It is still fully functional, but of course non-firing.  6″ long overall with a 3 7/16″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. Several areas of the revolver have been cut to show the construction & internals.  Finished “in the white” except for the blue screws.  Black powder frame with the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, cylinder pin retained by a screw, and the early style “Pinched Frame” topstrap. The triggerguard is not stamped 45 CAL on the left side just behind the trigger, there are no patent dates on the left side of the frame, no Uberti markings on the bottom of the barrel, & no serial numbers.    The barrel does have the factory roll stamped Colt one line italics barrel address.  Checkered hammer spur.  Blade type front sight.  Nicely figured one piece rosewood grip with a satin finish.  Complete with a walnut hinged top case with key lock & key made by Wayne Hoosier, the interior semi-French fit & lined in a purple felt.  Accessories include 25 solid brass unheadstamped solid brass dummy cartridges, a Larry Smith marked nickel three piece oiler, a brass cleaning rod made by Roberto Hinze, and the interior lid directions label.  There is a place for an “L” shaped screwdriver, but it is not included.  Mint new condition.  These are extremely rare, I have seen only about five in 30 years, & this is one of the five.  Stock # RC-7.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
