!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale miniature Colt Single Action Army revolver “Store Keeper’s Model” of 1873 with 4″ barrel. Not to be confused with a “Sheriff’s Model” which has a shorter barrel. One of the photos shows a “Sheriff’s Model” barrel next to this piece so you can see the difference. Also known as the “Peacemaker” and the “Frontier six Shooter”. Fully functional, but non-firing. 4 3/8″ long overall with a 1 7/8″ .21 caliber rifled barrel. Made by Uberti in Italy. Dark, beautifully figured walnut grips. The caliber marking 45 CAL is stamped on the left rear side of the triggerguard, two patent dates stamped on the left front of the frame. The early serial number, 744, is stamped into the bottom of the frame, triggerguard, and backstrap. 44 is stamped into the loading gate and the rear of the cylinder. Charcoal blue and case colored finish. Checkered hammer spur. Nickel silver blade type front sight. Black powder frame with a screw retaining the cylinder pin and the early “Pinched Frame” topstrap. No ejector rod housing or ejector rod as would be normal for this model. This is the only 4″ Store Keeper’s model I have ever seen! Mint condition. From the Elliott Burka collection.
