!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale Colt Single Action Army revolver with 7 1/2″ barrel made by Uberti in Italy. 6″ long overall with a 3 7/16″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. This piece is beautifully and extensively factory engraved with about 75% coverage. The revolver’s barrel, cylinder, ejector rod housing, ejector rod, triggerguard, backstrap, cylinder pin, cylinder pin release, & screws are finished in a beautiful high polish charcoal “blue” blue. The frame, loading gate, & hammer are case colored. One piece nicely figured rosewood grip with a piano gloss finish. Black powder frame with the round ejector rod button, the later topstrap with the sighting grove at the rear, and the cylinder pin held in place by a screw. The left front of the frame stamped with the patent dates in two lines. The left rear of the triggerguard stamped with the “.45 CAL” markings. The barrel factory roll stamped with the rare Colt barrel address! Checkered hammer spur. Serial number “384” stamped into the frame, triggerguard, backstrap, & loading gate hinge. “111” stamped into the rear of the cylinder. “A UBERTI FECIT” stamped into the bottom of the barrel. Nickel silver front sight. Near mint condition showing 99% original blue & case colors. These engraved Colt SAA’s with charcoal blue & case colored finish are extremely rare! The “Prestige Editions” with the gold wire inlays are scarce but way more common than SAA’s like this one. Complete with an Imperial Miniature Armory hinged top walnut case with magnetic latches. The interior English fit & lined in red felt. The case top laser engraved with the Colt Logo in an oval. The case bottom laser engraved with the Imperial Miniature Armory logo. Accessories include a brass three piece oiler & 24 dummy cartridges with brass cases round nose aluminum bullets, & “W – W 45 COLT” headstamps. A beautiful piece very early in production & with the rare factory roll stamped barrel address. Very rarely seen or offered for sale! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
