!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale Colt Single Action Army revolver made by Uberti in Italy. This is what Uberti called their “Prestige Edition”. The Prestige Editions were Uberti’s most beautiful & ornate models offered for sale. 4 3/4″ long overall with a 2 3/16″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. This piece is beautifully and extensively factory engraved and 22 karat gold wire inlaid. Charcoal blue and case colored finish. One piece nicely figured ivory grip with a great aged patina. Black powder frame with the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, the early “Pinched Frame” topstrap, and the cylinder pin held in place by a screw. The left front of the frame stamped with the patent dates in two lines. The left rear of the triggerguard stamped with the “.45 CAL” markings. Checkered hammer spur. Very early serial number 667 stamped into the frame, triggerguard, backstrap, loading gate hinge, and the rear of the cylinder. The top of the barrel factory roll stamped with the one line Colt italics barrel address. The bottom of the barrel stamped with the early Uberti marking “A. UBERTI – FECIT”. Nickel silver front sight. Mint condition, and a very handsome piece! These “Prestige Editions” are truly extremely rare with the Colt factory barrel address!!! This Uberti Colt SAA is absolutely the best, except for the even much rarer models with the gold inlaid barrel address. Still, one of the best “bang for the buck” miniatures you will ever have the opportunity to buy! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
