!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale miniature Colt 1873 Single Action Army “Sheriff’s Model” revolver with 3″ barrel. Also known as the “Peacemaker” and the “Frontier six Shooter”. Fully functional, but non-firing. 4″ long overall with a 1 3/8″ .21 caliber rifled barrel. Made by Uberti in Italy. One piece walnut grip with a varnish finish. The caliber marking 45 CAL is stamped on the left rear side of the triggerguard. Two patent dates on the left front of the frame. “A. UBERTI ITALY” stamped into the bottom of the barrel. The serial number 2548 is stamped into the bottom of the frame & triggerguard. 548 stamped into the bottom of the backstrap. 48 stamped into the loading gate hinge. Blue and case colored finish. Checkered hammer spur. Blued blade type front sight. Black powder frame with the early “pinched frame” topstrap, no ejector rod or housing, and a screw retaining the cylinder pin. Includes the original manila bubble pack envelope with original Uberti product label, and the inner packing materials. I just bought a small collection of these. Other than this small collection, I have never seen this packaging before. The outside of the envelope marked in black marker with the product number 33965OM (Old Model, as in black powder) , the serial # 2548, the MSRP at the time of $455.00, and the date 12-17-04. Mint new condition. One day the packaging may be worth more than the miniature! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
