Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale miniature Colt 1873 Single Action Army “Sheriff’s Model” revolver with 3″ barrel. Also known as the “Peacemaker” and the “Frontier six Shooter”. Fully functional, but non-firing. 4″ long overall with a 1 3/8″ .21 caliber rifled barrel. Made by Uberti in Italy. One piece highly figured rosewood grip with a beautiful satin oil finish. The caliber marking 45 CAL is stamped on the left rear side of the triggerguard. Two patent dates stamped on the left front of the frame. The top of the barrel is laser engraved with the proper two line barrel address. “A. UBERTI – ITALY” stamped into the bottom of the barrel. The serial number 1653 is stamped into the bottom of the frame, triggerguard, & backstrap. 653 is stamped into the loading gate hinge. Beautiful full nickel finish. Checkered hammer spur. Blade type front sight. Black powder frame with no ejector rod or housing, and a screw retaining the cylinder pin. What sets this piece apart from most others is the rare two line barrel address & the fire blue screws. It may not show in my photos, but the screws are a vibrant iridescent “blue” blue, not the normal black blue usually seen. I have seen very few Uberti nickel finished revolvers with fire blue screws, I’d say way less than 1% of the few nickel plated revolvers ever made, & only about four with the two line barrel address. Includes a custom walnut hinged top case with key lock made by Imperial Miniature Armory, but the key is missing. The top of the case 4-D pantograph carved with a raised silhouette of a Colt Sheriff Model, along with 1873 SAA, & some floral motifs. Accessories include the interior lid instructions label, a three piece brass oiler, and 12 solid brass dummy cartridges with W-W .45 COLT headstamps. Beautiful mint new condition. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
