!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale miniature Colt Single Action Army revolver model of 1873 with 4 3/4″ barrel. Also known as the “Peacemaker” and the “Frontier six Shooter”. Fully functional, but non-firing. 4 13/16″ long overall with a 2 3/16″ .21 caliber rifled barrel. Made by Uberti in Italy. The two piece custom made grips were made by renown Native American artist David Yellowhorse, who is famous for making custom turquoise handles for Buck Knives. The grips are made of turquoise, rosewood, sterling silver, and red coral, and are held in place by a single screw entering from the left side. The barrel is laser marked with the rare Colt two line barrel address which reads, “COLT’S PT. F.A.MFG. Co., HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.”. The caliber marking 45 CAL is stamped on the left rear side of the triggerguard, two patent dates stamped on the left front of the frame. The serial number, 1493, is stamped on the bottom of the frame & triggerguard. 493 is stamped into the bottom of the backstrap. 93 is stamped into the loading gate. The bottom of the barrel marked “A. UBERTI FECIT”. Blue and case colored finish. Checkered hammer spur. Blue blade type front sight. Black powder frame with the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, the cylinder pin retained by a screw, and the early “Pinched Frame” top strap. Complete with the original David Yellowhorse marked zipper pouch. Really nice dark case colors on the frame, hammer, and loading gate. A beautiful piece and very rarely encountered. Mint condition.
