!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale miniature Colt single action army revolver Model of 1873 with 4 3/4 inch barrel made by Uberti in Italy. Also known as the “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter”. Fully functional, but non-firing. 4 3/4″ long overall with a 2 5/32″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. Features include charcoal blue & case colored finish, black powder frame with the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, cylinder pin retained by a screw, and the early “Pinched Frame” topstrap. The triggerguard is stamped 45 CAL on the left side just behind the trigger. The frame stamped with the two patent dates on the left side. Serial number 1303 stamped into the frame, trigger guard, & backstrap. 03 stamped into the loading gate hinge. The bottom of the barrel roll stamped “A. UBERTI ITALY”. Checkered hammer spur. Nickel silver blade type front sight. Beautiful high relief carved and checkered ivory grip depicting a bison head. The charcoal blue finish shows several areas of thinning and freckles on the barrel, ejector rod housing, cylinder, triggerguard, and backstrap. I’d call the blue 90%. The case colors are 100%. Gives it a “real” look. The grips on close examination show some over runs in the checkering and there are a couple dark spots that were inherent in the ivory. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
