!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale Colt “Buntline Special” revolver with 16″ barrel made by Uberti in Italy. Fully functional, but non-firing. 10 1/16″ long overall with a 7 1/2″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. Blue & case colored finish. The left front of the frame marked with the patent dates in two lines. The caliber marking “.45 CAL” stamped into the left rear side of the triggerguard. The serial number “2955” stamped into the bottom of the frame & triggerguard. 955 stamped into the bottom of the backstrap. 55 stamped into the loading gate hinge. The bottom of the barrel near the cylinder pin marked “A. UBERTI, ITALY”. Checkered hammer spur. Smokeless Powder frame with the oval ejector rod button, the later style top strap, and the cylinder pin secured by a spring loaded plunger. Walnut one piece grip with an oil finish. Mint condition except for some small handling marks on the grips. Includes the original manila bubble pack envelope with original Uberti product label, and the inner packing materials. I just bought a small collection of these. Other than this small collection, I have never seen this packaging before. The outside of the envelope marked in black marker with the product number 33969, the serial # 2955, the MSRP at the time of $565.00, and the date 12-17-04. Mint new condition. These 16″ smokeless powder Uberti Buntline revolvers are rare as they made less than 20. One day the packaging may be worth more than the miniature! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
