!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale Colt “Buntline Special” revolver with 16″ barrel made by Uberti in Italy. Fully functional, but non-firing. 10 1/16″ long overall with a 7 1/2″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. Nickel finish. The left front of the frame marked with the patent dates in two lines. The caliber marking “.45 CAL” stamped into the left rear side of the triggerguard. The serial number “3177” stamped into the bottom of the frame & triggerguard. 177 stamped into the bottom of the backstrap. The bottom of the barrel near the cylinder pin marked “A. UBERTI, ITALY”. The top of the frame has the long range stand up adjustable sight. Checkered hammer spur. Black Powder frame with the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, the early “Pinched Frame” top strap, and the cylinder pin secured by a screw. Nicely figured walnut one piece grips with a high gloss finish. Mint condition except for some small handling marks on the grips. Only six of these Nickel 16″ Buntline Specials were ever made, and they are extremely rare! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
