Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a Uberti 47% scale Colt single action army revolver with black powder frame, charcoal blue and case colored finish, and 5 1/2″ barrel.  Probably made in the late 1990’s.  Also known as the “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter”.  Fully functional, but non-firing.  5 3/16″ long overall with a 2 9/16″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber.  Features include the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button,  cylinder pin retained by a screw, and the early “Pinched Frame” topstrap.  The triggerguard is stamped 45 CAL on the left side just behind the trigger.  The frame stamped with the two patent dates on the left side.  Serial number 261 stamped into the frame, trigger guard, backstrap, rear of the cylinder, & loading gate hinge.  The bottom of the barrel roll stamped with the early marking “A. UBERTI FECIT”.  Checkered hammer spur.  Nickel silver blade type front sight.  Nicely figured one piece walnut grip with a high gloss finish.    Includes the original Uberti factory green cardboard box, the end label marked “S. A. 5″ 1/2, 261” in black marker, and “S PATOLA” in orange marker, along with the two original pieces of foam padding.  Excellent near mint condition showing 99+% blue and case colors, & only some minor wear on the front edge of the left side of the hammer where it enters the frame which is not noticeable when the hammer is down.  The box shows some wear, but is still nice!  Just like full size Colt SAA’s, there may come a time when having the original box for these Uberti Miniatures will double the price, or more, of the revolver!  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
