!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 47% scale Colt “Buntline” single action army revolver made by Uberti in Italy, and modified by Larry Smith of Florida to shoot.  8 3/16 long overall with a 5 5/8″ rifled barrel of about .21 caliber.  Charcoal blue and case colored finish with one piece highly figured walnut grip.  Black powder frame with a screw securing the cylinder pin and the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button.  Early “Pinched Frame” top strap. The triggerguard stamped 45 CAL on the left side just behind the trigger. The frame stamped with the two patent dates on the left side. Very early serial number, 633  stamped into the frame, trigger guard, backstrap, the rear of the cylinder, and the loading gate hinge.  Checkered hammer spur.  No Uberti markings on the bottom of the barrel.  The top of the barrel factory roll stamped with the early one line italics barrel address.  Larry Smith took a standard Uberti Colt SAA, removed the factory plug and retaining pin from the barrel, plugged the hole where the pin was, then manufactured a proper length replacement firing pin and installed it.  He then reamed the cylinders.  Years ago Larry made live, blank, and dummy ammunition for these modified Uberti SAA’s, but it is almost impossible to find.  Included is a hinged top walnut casing with push button latch.  The interior French fit and lined in a dark blue velour.  There is a cartridge block with six holes for ammunition and two Larry Smith dummy cartridges were included.  I have included four additional Larry Smith dummy cartridges from my own small supply to fill the rest of the holes.  These dummy cartridges have brass cases, copper primers, and lead bullets, and look like live rounds.  Larry’s live rounds have a different bullet profile.  Also included is a brass oiler, a walnut handled screwdriver, and a walnut handled cleaning rod.  Mechanically perfect, but the charcoal finish has started to turn in places, especially so on the cylinder which is now a bronze color.  The lining of the case shows some damage in the front sight area.  Stock # ES-21.  Price Reduced:  $1,750.00.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
