This is a 47% scale miniature Colt 1861 Navy revolver made by Uberti in Italy with the detachable shoulder stock & the original Uberti green cardboard box with the Uberti markings and inventory number. 12 1/8″ long overall with the shoulder stock attached. The revolver is 6″ long overall with a 3 9/16″ rifled barrel. Checkered loading lever latch and hammer spur. Fully functional, but non-firing. Charcoal blue and case colored finish with one piece walnut grip. “.36 Cal” marked triggerguard, the front left of the frame marked “COLT’S, PATENT” in two lines. Roll engraved cylinder with the Ormsby naval scene and the serial number 083. Serial number Z083 stamped into the bottom of the barrel lug, the bottom front of the frame, the bottom front of the triggerguard, and the bottom of the backstrap. The bottom of the barrel hidden by the loading lever is marked with the very unusual markings “HEGE” then “BKA, ……., 142” in what looks to be lesser than & greater than “V” brackets. The original box has the inventory number “105641. 28 Ul.n” on a white label in black marker on one end. The oposite end has an orange sticker printed with “310 020”, then written in ink “083”. Probably some in house inventory to transport number. The box interior has two pieces of cream colored foam to protect the miniature. I have only seen two other Uberti miniatures with their original boxes, one years ago & one I bought at the same time as this one & listed earlier. Both of these came from Germany. Back when I was buying miniatures directly from Uberti, they came to me with no box in a Ziplock sandwich bag! Near mint condition, the revolver 99+% mint condition. The shoulder stock has a few small nicks in the bottom of the stock between the lower tang and the buttplate, probably caused by the sharp edges of the revolver butt in shipping. Probably didn’t happen from Uberti, but from the German auction I bought this from. Price: $950.00.
