!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale Colt 1851 Navy percussion revolver made by Uberti in Italy. Fully functional, but non-firing. 6 1/4″ long overall with a 3 1/2″ octagon rifled barrel of .17 caliber. This miniature revolver was special ordered from Uberti in the white, or with no finish, and with no serial numbers. Probably by someone who was going to replicate exactly their full size 51 Navy. The brass triggerguard, backstrap, and bead front sight are just starting to show a nice touch of age patina. The bottom of the barrel marked “A. UBERTI – ITALY”. .36 CAL marked at the left rear of the triggerguard. The cylinder is not roll stamped with the Ormsby naval battle scene, so I am including an extra cylinder that does have the factory roll engraved sailing ship naval battle scene. Checkered hammer spur and loading lever latch. Beautiful highly figured walnut one piece grip with a high gloss piano type finish. These special order in the white miniatures, which I call “Engraver’s Specials” actually cost more from Uberti than one that was fully finished! Mint new condition. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
