This is a 47% Colt 1851 Navy revolver made by Uberti in Italy. Fully functional, but non-firing. 6 1/4″ long overall with a 3 1/2″ octagon rifled barrel of .17 caliber. The frame, hammer, rammer, and loading lever are case colored. The balance of the steel parts are standard black blue. The brass triggerguard, backstrap, and bead front sight are just starting to show a touch of age patina. 36 CAL marked at the left rear of the triggerguard. The cylinder roll stamped with the Ormsby naval battle scene. Checkered hammer spur. Serial number “539” stamped into the barrel lug, frame, triggerguard, & backstrap. The bottom of the barrel roll stamped “A. UBERTI, ITALY”. Includes the original manila bubble pack envelope with original Uberti product label, and all the inner packing materials. I just bought a small collection of these, which I have never seen this packaging before. The outside of the envelope marked in black marker with the product number 33950, the serial # 539, the MSRP at the time of $460.00, and the date 12-17-04. Mint new condition. One day the packaging may be worth more than the miniature! Price: $750.00.
