!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is an original U.S. Historical society glass topped mahogany casing for their “Classic Edition” 1861 Colt Navy percussion revolver with detachable shoulder stock. The glass top is etched with the Colt logo in the top right rear corner. The interior is French fit, and lined in a light blue/gray velour. The case interior fitted with a rectangular brass plaque which reads “1861 NAVY COLT MINIATURE, CLASSIC EDITION, COLT FIREARMS, UNITED STATES HISTORICAL SOCIETY” in four lines. this is the case for the standard embellished revolver. The top sides of the case lid show some repaired cracks, which are noticeable, but not bad, otherwise the case is in excellent condition. There were a number of Uberti Colt 1861 Navy revolvers with shoulder stocks that came into the U.S. which were an overrun of the USHS production, and this case will fit them perfectly. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
