!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a mahogany glass top case made by the U.S. Historical Society for their “Presidential Edition” 47% scale Colt 1851 navy percussion revolver. Outside dimensions are 9″ X 5″ X 1 5/8″. Hinged top lid with 3/4 length piano hinge and front slide latch. The glass is etched with the COLT logo. The interior is French fit and lined in a light blue velour. There is an engraved brass plaque reading “Presidential Edition, ’51 Navy Colt Miniature, Colt Firearms, U.S. Historical Society” in four lines. The bottom is lined in a reddish brown felt like material. Excellent condition, but does show some minor nicks & scratches from handling. Suitable for any USHS or Uberti miniature 1851 navy Colt. You can get a new plaque made to your specs for a very nominal cost at your local trophy shop. These glass top cases were an optional upgrade for the USHS “Classic Edition” 1851 Colt navy revolvers, but with a different plaque of course. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
