Project Description

This is a 47% scale miniature Colt 1847 Walker revolver as issued by the United States Historical Society in the 1980’s.  This is the “Classic Edition”, which is what almost all of the 1100 made would have looked like.  These were made by Uberti in Italy under license from Colt for the USHS.  Fully functional, but non-firing.  7 1/4″ long overall with a 4 1/4″ long rifled barrel.  Nickel silver blade front sight.  Blue and case colored finish, brass triggerguard, with pretty one piece select rosewood grip with some nice figure.  The muzzle is polished in the white.  Serial # 138 marked on the bottom of the barrel lug, frame, triggerguard, backstrap, and on the side of the cylinder.  The cylinder properly roll engraved with the Ormsby Texas Rangers & Indians battle cylinder scene.  The right side of the barrel lug marked US, 1847 on two lines just above the wedge.  The top of the barrel roll stamped with the proper Colt barrel address reading correctly when held in the left hand.  Checkered hammer spur.  The hammer has both half & full cock.  Complete with the original mahogany slide latch hinged top casing with the Colt logo stamped into the top right front corner.  The interior is French fit with a gray velour lining.  The interior bottom fitted with the USHS rectangular brass plaque with their info.  The revolver is in mint 100% new condition.   The mahogany case near mint.  Price:  $850.00.
