!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale BelMex 2mm rimfire single shot derringer pistol by the legendary Tom P. Weston of Mexico City, Mexico, probably made from the late 1940’s to early 1960’s. 2 3/16″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ barrel of about .075 caliber. Fire blue finish. Two piece varnished walnut grips with yellow brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side. Serrated hammer spur. Complete with the original Weston red hinged top clamshell cardboard box with push button latch. The outside of the box covered in red felt. The interior bottom lined in a dark green velour with 2 loops, one for the barrel and one for one of the two included pill capsules of 2mm rimfire blank cartridges. The interior lid lined in an off white silk, and marked “”MODELO” “BELMEX”, WESTON REFORMA, REFORMA 312 – 1, MEXICO, 6 D.F., 2MM – RIM. FIRE.” in five lines. Also includes the original ivory handle blue steel cleaning rod with yellow brass ferrule, and a cleaning brush. The pistol shows 99+% strong original fire blue, and shows no signs of having been shot. The box is in near mint condition. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
