!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale BelMex 2mm rimfire single shot pistol by the legendary Tom P. Weston of Mexico City, Mexico, probably made from the mid 1940’s to early 1960’s. 2 3/16″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ barrel of about .075 caliber. Fire blue finish. Two piece mother of pearl grips with yellow brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side. The bottom of the butt has a lanyard ring. Serrated trigger front and hammer spur. Complete with the original Weston hinged top clam shell manila colored cardboard box with push button latch. The interior bottom lined in a green/gold velour with 1 loop for the barrel. Included is a neat glass vial with cork stopper holding a quantity of 2mm rimfire blank cartridges. The interior lid lined in an off white/gold silk, and marked “WESTON’S, MADERO 13 MEXICO CITY, MEXICO, MEXICAN CRAFTS, ANTIQUES” in 5 lines. Also includes the original ivory handle blue steel cleaning rod with yellow brass ferrule. The pistol shows 99+% strong original fire blue, and shows no sign of having been shot. The box shows some wear & scuffing, mostly to the edges and corners. Stock # TJ-9. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
