Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/3 scale Colt #3 derringer made by Tom Weston in Mexico City, Mexico in the late 1940’s to the early 1960’s.  2 3/16″ long overall with a 1 1/8″ barrel of .110 caliber.  This chambers the 2mm rimfire cartridge with the thick rim.  The frame is steel & looks to be nickel plated, but may just be finished in the white.  Beautiful charcoal blue barrel, trigger, hammer, & screws.  Two piece ivory grips with nice grain & an aged patina and single screw entering from the right side.  The left grip with a small natural occurring flaw near the middle top of the backstrap close to the edge.  Serrated hammer spur and trigger.  The front sight is missing, & would have been a nickel silver or brass blade type.  No markings.  Near mint condition except most of the blue has flaked off the sides of the hammer, & there is some minor pitting on the left side of the hammer spur.  From the personal miniature collection of Joel Morrow & two others who shall not be named.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
