!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/2 scale Sharps four barrel pepperbox derringer made by Tom P. Weston in Mexico City, Mexico, probably made in the mid 1940’s to early 1950’s.  2 3/4″ long overall with a 1 1/2″ barrel group.  Brass frame & front bead sight.  Blued steel barrel, hammer, trigger, & screws.  Checkered hammer spur.  Both sides of the frame marked in a circle around the hammer screw.  The left side marked C. SHARPS PATENT 1859″.  The right side marked “C. SHARPS & CO PHILAD. PA”.  The bottom of the butt stamped “01”.  One piece ebony grip.  These pepperboxes were unusual as instead of having a rotating barrel group, they have a rotating firing pin.  Fully functional, including the rotating firing pin, and will shoot the 2mm rimfire cartridges with the thick rim.  Includes a custom black leatherette hinged top case with push button latch made by Herschel Kopp.  The case top with an oval brass unmarked escutcheon.  The case interior English fit & lined in red felt.  There is a compartment with a round black lid with brass knob that contains four rounds of 2mm rimfire blank cartridges.  Accessories include a rosewood handled cleaning/extractor rod with brass ferrule and blued steel shaft and the special blued steel tool for loading the cartridges into the chambers.  The push button for the case latch is missing, but the case can be opened by pressing firmly in the area of the missing button.  Excellent near mint condition.  Stock # TP-22.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
