This is a 1/2 scale Colt Walker percussion revolver made by the legendary Tom P. Weston of Mexico city, Mexico back in the late 1940’s to mid 1960’s. 7 3/4″ long overall with a 4 5/16″ part octagon part round barrel of .188 caliber. Steel construction with the exception of the triggerguard which is yellow brass. One piece walnut grip. The top of the barrel hand engraved “ADDRESS Sm COLT NEW YORK CITY” and reads properly when held in the left hand. The frame marked with the number “12”. the triggerguard engraved “A COMY N 12”. The buttstrap and the left side of the barrel lug engraved “A COMPANY No 12”. The right side of the barrel lug engraved “US” over “1847”. The revolver is extensively engraved, probably in Mexico, with about 60% coverage in vine & scroll. The hammer has the proper four clicks when the hammer is cocked slowly. Most likely a one-of-a-kind piece. Excellent condition showing about 95% original blue finish. The triggerguard with a very mellow aged patina. The grips showing 95%+ original varnish finish with some small bumps & bruises. Price Reduced: $975.00.
