!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Southerner side swing derringer by Top P. Weston in Mexico City circa the late 1940’s. Shoots the .22 rim fire short, CB, or BB cartridges. 3 5/32″ long overall with a 1 9/16″ rifled barrel of about .215 caliber. Highly polished blue barrel, hammer, trigger, screws, & pins. Yellow brass frame, front sight, & grip escutcheons. Checkered hammer spur. The hammer with half & full cock. The left side of the barrel marked “MERRIMACK ARMS & MFG. CO., PAT. APRIL 9, 1867” in two lines. The top of the barrel marked “SOUTHERNER”. No maker markings other than the number 13 stamped into the left side of the bottom of the gripstrap. Original Weston beveled glass topped mahogany case, five rounds of .22 CB cap ammo, & one new primed empty case. No Weston tag on the bottom of the case which leaves me to believe this is a very early Weston piece. Excellent condition showing only minor handling wear. There is a small crack in the bottom of the case. Must be shipped to a FFL dealer. Price: $1,350.00. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
