Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale BelMex 2mm rimfire single shot derringer pistol by the legendary Tom P. Weston of Mexico City, Mexico, probably made from the mid 1940’s to the mid 1960’s. 2 3/16″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ barrel of about .075 caliber. Fire blue finish except for the hammer which is case colored. Two piece ivory grips with yellow brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side. Serrated hammer spur & trigger. Complete with the original Weston red & black pebble grained hinged top clam shell cardboard box with push button latch. The interior bottom lined in a dark red velour with 2 loops, one for the barrel and one for the included pill capsule of 2mm rimfire blank cartridges. The interior lid is an off white silk with the Weston markings (see photo). In looking through the BelMex pistols I have sold over the last 4 years, this is the only interior lid label with markings like this! Also includes the original rosewood handled blue steel cleaning rod with yellow brass ferrule. The pistol shows 99+% strong original fire blue, and shows no signs of having been shot. The box is in excellent condition showing just little to no wear to the edges & corners. If you’re looking for a rare high condition BelMex, here it is! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
