!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Stanley Blashak 1/4 Scale Flintlock Kentucky Rifle, Pistol, & Frontier Accessories With Case !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/4 scale flintlock Kentucky rifle & pistol cased with the typical accessories a frontiersman would have carried in the period.  The set includes the rifle, pistol, priming flask, powder flask, possibles bag, peace pipe tomahawk, hatchet, & Bowie type knife with scabbard.  Wow, there’s a lot going on with this set, so this will be a short read with over 100 photos!

The Rifle is 13 13/16″ long overall with a 9 3/4″ browned octagon barrel of .115 caliber.  Dovetailed front & rear sights also browned, as is the lock assembly and trigger, the lock having both half & full cock.  Silver furniture with three wedges retaining the barrel.  Full length hickory ramrod retained by three silver thimbles.  Beautiful silver engraved & pierced patchbox with a spring loaded button release near the bottom of the buttstock.  The interior of the patchbox marked “STAN BLASHAK, NEW CASTLE, PA.”.  Engraved silver sideplate, wedge escutcheons, & multiple stock inlays.  Outstanding high carving on the right side of the buttstock, at the barrel tang, the left side of the buttstock, with a nice flute along the ramrod channel.

The pistol measures 3 5/8″ long overall with a 2 1/16″ part octagon part round slightly swamped barrel of .120 caliber.  Steel barrel & lock assembly finished in the white.  Beautifully engraved silver furniture.  Full length wood ramrod.  The hammer has both half & full cock.

The accessorizes include a German silver priming flask, a peace pipe tomahawk with steel head finished in the white & ivory mouth piece, a hatchet with wood handle & steel head finished in the white, a leather possibles bag with flap with a brass stud closure, an scrimshawed ivory powder flask with violin tuning peg stoper, & an ivory handled drop point knife with leather scabbard.

All cased in the original Blashak walnut hinged top case with two swivel latches.  The interior French fit for the rifle, pistol, & flask, & English fit for the tomahawk, hatchet, possibles bag, & ivory powder horn.  Wow, what a great piece in such a small scale!  Mint new as made condition.  Stock # CK-82.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
